19 Months By Storm…

19 months already here, boy time flies when we are having fun. The trio are learning so much. Our vocabulary skills are really starting to develop. We are saying/repeating everything. Yes! Censorship is a must these days, which can be extremely difficult when we are also managing hostile teenagers as well. This weekend we learned the “cheesy” smile. I ask them to show me their cheesy smile and they really ham it up. They have even allowed me to get a few photos, which hasn’t happened much of late. They will even say “cheese” as we do it. Also Gunner finally learned how to climb up the bounce house slide by himself. They girls already had this one down but he has now mastered it as well, which is good seeing we have Delton’s Birthday Party next weekend at Jumpin Jungle. In the last month they have become little helpers. They like to throw things away for you and throw their laundry in the dirty clothes hamper. They will even pick their toys if you help them. We are learning to apologize when we accidentally hurt one another, like run into each other or knock each other down. This happens quite regular when you have three running in different directions in the same space. So we are now hugging and kissing each other to say sorry (pulls your little heart strings, huh). We are developing other fine motor skills as well. We love to climb (we no longer have kitchen chairs). Everytime we’d turn around someone was in the middle of the table, so chairs….gone. Emma is very coordinated when it comes to jumping. She will jump multiple times without losing her balance. They all love their bounce house, but we use it sparsely. It is usually a treat every few weeks. However, it was a lifesaver this weekend with all the nasty weather. They have developed the house blues. They are tired of being cooped up here. They love to go outside and play. Gunner is a “Mini Mi”, he mimics everyone from sounds to movements. He tries very hard at all he does. He is a hustler when it comes to playing ball and loves to play catch for hours on end. He also loves basketball and has a good jump shot already. Faith is very sweet and loving. She is also the keeper of the others. She will let us know immediately if the others are not behaving.
